Key accountabilities / Main Responsibilities :

  • Research & Analysis
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities in the confectionery & FMCG.
  • Analyze competitor strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain databases of market and consumer information for strategic planning.
  • Consumer Insights
  • Design and manage surveys, focus groups, and other tools to collect customer feedback.
  • Analyze consumer buying behaviors to identify patterns and preferences.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for marketing campaigns and product development.
  • Performance Evaluation
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing communication strategies, campaigns, and channels.
  • Provide regular reports and dashboards on key metrics, identifying areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize ROI based on data-driven insights.
  • Collaboration & Support
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including retail, sales, branding, and product development to align research insights with business goals.
  • Support the development of communication strategies for product launches, campaigns, and promotional activities.

Technical / Professional Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in market research or a similar role, preferably in the FMCG or confectionery industry.
