The Operation Supervisor - Real Estate is responsible for overseeing the daily operations within the real estate sector, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role includes managing a team, coordinating property transactions, and ensuring compliance with real estate regulations.

Team Leadership :

  • Supervise and guide the operations team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to set objectives, review performance, and provide feedback.
  • Foster a positive working environment that encourages professional development and growth.

Operational Oversight :

  • Coordinate the daily activities of the operations team, ensuring all tasks are executed effectively.
  • Monitor workflow and efficiency of operations, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant real estate regulations.
  • Property Management :

  • Manage the acquisition, leasing, and disposal of properties to maximize portfolio performance.
  • Oversee property maintenance and tenant relations to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare and present reports on property performance, market conditions, and operational metrics.
  • Financial Management :

  • Assist in preparing and managing the operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Compliance and Risk Management :

  • Stay updated on real estate industry trends, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the company and its assets.
  • Implement and enforce safety standards to protect staff and properties.
  • Client Relations :

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, tenants, and vendors to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve any operational issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Requirements

    Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate operations or property management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Skills and Competencies :

  • Strong knowledge of real estate principles, practices, and local laws.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage client expectations.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and make decisions effectively.
  • Technical Skills :

  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with real estate management and reporting tools.
  • Professional Certifications :

  • Relevant certifications in real estate or property management (e.g., CPM, RPA) are a plus.
  • Personal Qualities :

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively under pressure.
