MEP Engineer - Fluent English

Job Description

We are looking for a MEP Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing, coordinating, and supporting HVAC and Plumbing systems across different project phases. You will work on technical drawings, site coordination, material specifications, and cost support, contributing to high-quality project delivery.

This is an opportunity to work with a leading Mechanical Contractor in the Chicago, IL, USA area, while being based in our Cairo office.

Key Responsibilities

Review HVAC and Plumbing designs and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Support material selection, BOQs, and technical submittals.

Assist in coordination between design, estimation, procurement, and site teams.

Participate in cost analysis, project reporting, and technical office activities.

Ensure accuracy of mechanical drawings and system integration.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).

Fluency in English (written & spoken).

1 to 3 years of experience in MEP projects (HVAC / Plumbing focus).

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, drawings, and site coordination.

Proficiency in Excel and exposure to estimation or BOQ preparation is a plus.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Arrangement :

First 3 months : On-site training at our Cairo, Egypt office (Nasr City).

After 3 months : Work-from-home

Working hours : 4 : 00 PM to1 : 00 AM Cairo time .
