  • Operational Duties
  • Business Development
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market trends in the logistics industry
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new clients
  • Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into customers
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
  • Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and emerging trends
  • Strategic Customer
  • Identify potential strategic partners and evaluate partnership opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners to explore collaboration and business expansion
  • Collaborate with partners to develop joint marketing initiatives and leverage each other's strengths
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of strategic partnerships, adjusting as necessary
  • Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence
  • Conduct market analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape
  • Gather and analyze data on competitors' strategies, pricing, and offerings
  • Provide insights and recommendations to management on market positioning, product / service enhancements, and competitive differentiation
  • Internal Liaison and Support
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, customer service, and finance to ensure smooth execution of logistic projects
  • Communicate customer needs and feedback to relevant internal departments
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new logistics solutions or services
  • Administrative and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of business development activities
  • Prepare reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer satisfaction
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the BD team
  • Manage data and information related to logistics services and customers
  • Financial Duties
  • Sales and Revenue Growth
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts and pricing agreements
  • Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management
  • Identify areas for improvement in the sales process and propose innovative solutions
  • Customer Satisfaction Duties
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to identify opportunities for improvement and upselling
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful execution of logistics projects
  • Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or any related field
  • Years of Experience
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the logistics industry
