Index is seeking a results-oriented and visionary Head of Sales – AWS Cloud Business to lead our global AWS sales strategy and execution. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding AWS cloud adoption, and building strategic customer relationships across multinational markets.
You will oversee all aspects of AWS sales, including go-to-market strategy, enterprise engagement, pipeline development, and team leadership. As the head of this business unit, your role will be instrumental in shaping the future of Index Infotech’s AWS cloud practice on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global AWS sales strategy aligned with business objectives
- Lead and grow a high-performing cloud sales team across regions
- Establish and manage executive-level customer relationships with enterprise clients
- Identify new markets, industries, and strategic accounts for AWS cloud adoption
- Drive AWS-aligned go-to-market initiatives and collaborate closely with AWS partner teams
- Manage the full sales lifecycle – from opportunity identification to deal closure
- Deliver accurate sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, and business performance metrics
- Work cross-functionally with pre-sales, delivery, and marketing teams to ensure customer success
- Stay ahead of AWS product innovations, market dynamics, and competitor strategies
Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise B2B technology salesAt least 5 years of direct experience in selling AWS cloud solutionsProven success in leading multinational sales teams and managing large-scale transformation dealsStrong knowledge of AWS cloud services, pricing models, and partner programsDemonstrated ability to close complex, multi-million-dollar enterprise dealsExceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skillsBachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related fieldMaster’s degree or MBA preferredAWS certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Business Professional) are a strong advantageExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWillingness to travel as needed for international client engagements
