**Position Overview:**
The Project Control Manager Engineer for the Abu Qir Metro (AQM) will oversee all project control aspects for this underground construction initiative. The role requires a highly skilled professional in project management, cost control, scheduling, risk management, and reporting to ensure successful project delivery on time and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Project Planning and Scheduling:**
- Develop and manage the project schedule using advanced techniques.
- Collaborate with project teams to establish milestones and monitor progress, identifying and addressing delays promptly.

2. **Cost Control and Budget Management:**
- Prepare and oversee the project budget, ensuring alignment with scope.
- Conduct cost analyses to identify variances and implement corrective actions, overseeing invoicing processes.

3. **Risk Management:**
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies, conducting assessments and establishing contingency plans.

4. **Reporting and Documentation:**
- Create regular project control reports on schedule, cost, and risk status.
- Maintain compliance with documentation standards and facilitate project meetings to communicate updates and solutions.

5. **Team Leadership and Collaboration:**
- Lead and mentor project control staff, fostering accountability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives, serving as the main point of contact for project controls.

6. **Continuous Improvement:**
- Evaluate and enhance project control processes and tools, staying current with industry best practices.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of project controls experience in construction, specifically with underground metro or railway projects.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and financial tools.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional certifications (PMP, RICS) are desirable.

**Working Conditions:**
Site visits to construction locations may be required, including underground environments. Flexibility for extended hours or weekends may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
