Job Description
* Ensure that imported product claims comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture, or any other regulatory body, and with legal requirements.
* Prepare and upload all documents required by agencies for import applications, product registration, or modifications.
* Communicate and negotiate with regulatory bodies.
* Maintain regulatory application documentation and monitor their status.
* Manage new and existing product registration activities.
* Arrange and communicate with the supplier regarding all new and updated certifications.
* Identify the types of regulatory applications or internal documentation required in cases such as proposed product or labeling changes.
* Identify relevant guidance documents, international standards, or consensus standards, and provide interpretation assistance.
* Prepare or supervise the preparation of additional information or responses upon request from the Regulatory Affairs Manager.
*Obtain and evaluate offers for inland transportation, ocean freight, and related logistics services
*Negotiate competitive rates to optimize cost efficiency while ensuring service quality.
*Oversee import and export customs clearance processes in line with Egyptian customs law.
*Ensure all shipments comply with local and international regulations.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Egypt’s customs procedures and tariff structures to minimize delays and costs
*Review and verify shipping documents (invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.)
*Coordinate with finance to process payments to freight forwarders, carriers, and customs authorities.
*Identify opportunities to reduce logistics costs through vendor negotiations, route optimization, and customs duty savings
*Prepare regular reports on transportation costs, customs clearance performance, and savings achieved
Job Requirements
- * Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as pharmacy, engineering, science, or agriculture.
* Fluency in both spoken and written English and Arabic.
* three to five years of experience.
* Experience in the pesticide and chemical industry is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Problem-solving and time management skills. - Proficient in the Nafeza and Cargo systems and any other import/export software.
