School Accountant

Westview International Language School is looking for a detail-oriented and organized School Accountant to join our finance team. The School Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the school.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports, providing insights to management.
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning processes.
• Coordinate with auditors and prepare necessary documentation for audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Support payroll processing and related financial tasks as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Previous experience in accounting, preferably in an educational environment, is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Good command of English is required.
• Previous experience in schools (preferable)
