As a Tendering Manager, you will oversee the entire tendering process, from preparing and submitting bids to negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and securing profitable projects for the company.

Key Accountabilities

The position involves:

• Overseeing the entire tendering process, from initial bid preparation to final submission, ensuring deadlines are met and documentation is complete.
• Collaborating with various departments to gather necessary information and prepare competitive bids for contracting projects.
• Conducting market research to identify opportunities and trends, ensuring bids align with current market conditions.
• Negotiating contract terms and conditions with clients and subcontractors, aiming to secure favorable outcomes for the company.
• Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards in all tender submissions.
• Identifying potential risks in tender submissions and developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Working closely with the finance department to prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for tender submissions.
• Maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates on the status of tender submissions and projects.
• Leading and mentoring a team of tendering professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
• Reviewing and analyzing outcomes of tender submissions, providing feedback to improve future bids and strategies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We are Looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in tendering or procurement, preferably within the contracting industry.
• Strong understanding of the contracting market, including current trends and regulations.
• Proven experience in preparing and winning competitive bids for large-scale projects.
• Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable contract terms.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency in tender management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and develop a team of professionals.
