Oracle Consulting – Cloud SCM Consultant (Contractor for Pharos team)

He should be able to operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement, to perform complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. He should have experiences and be able to apply Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Ability and experiences on acting as the team lead on projects will be seriously taken into consideration. The successful candidate should be able to conduct C-Level communication, effective communication with management of customer organizations. The candidate should also demonstrate proven expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

Ideally, the candidate should be able to demonstrate 4-5 years of experience relevant to this position including 2 years consulting experiences and holding a university degree. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients is essential.

Ability to travel across MEA as needed.

The Opportunity

An exciting, high-profile opportunity exists to join Oracle Consulting’s growing MEA Delivery team (internally known as the Pharos team) as a Supply Chain Consultant, Workstream Lead, Principal Consultant, or Senior Principal Consultant, depending on experience and qualifications.

In this role, you will lead and deliver Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain (SCM) implementations for customers across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). You will work closely with project leadership, solution architects, technical teams, and customer stakeholders to deliver successful business outcomes through Oracle Cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers and Solution Architects to plan and execute Supply Chain implementation workstreams.
• Analyze customer business requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.
• Map business requirements to Oracle Fusion Supply Chain capabilities and leading practices.
• Facilitate discovery, design, and solution workshops with customer stakeholders.
• Lead solution design activities and document functional specifications.
• Configure Oracle Fusion Supply Chain solutions and coordinate with local and offshore delivery teams.
• Support testing activities, including business process validation, conference room pilots, and user acceptance testing.
• Assess business and technical impacts of proposed solutions and provide recommendations.
• Oversee workstream deliverables, ensuring quality, scope, and timeline commitments are achieved.
• Manage data migration, cutover planning, and deployment activities for the assigned workstream.
• Support issue resolution during hypercare and transition activities following go-live.
• Partner with technical teams to provide functional guidance and business clarification for customizations, integrations, reports, and extensions.
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and enable customer teams for ongoing solution adoption and support.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by delivering projects on time, within scope, and to a high standard of quality.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Supply Chain practitioner, implementation consultant, or workstream lead.
• Hands-on experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain solutions, including at least three Oracle Fusion SCM modules.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain business processes and industry best practices.
• Experience supporting implementations within the UAE, KSA, and broader MEA region is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of integrations between Oracle Fusion SCM and surrounding enterprise applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to understand and address complex business challenges.
• Experience planning and facilitating solution design workshops and stakeholder discussions.
• Ability to design and deliver solutions spanning multiple business processes and organizational functions.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel across the MEA region as required.
