Junior Accountant

Role Overview We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our finance operations, with a focus on accounts payable, supplier payments, financial records, and day-to-day accounting activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, solution-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Be Doing Reconcile and process supplier payments. Review invoices and clarify any discrepancies related to invoice items, pricing, or receiving signatures. Prepare payment vouchers with invoice number, date, vendor details, item description, amount, and appropriate accounting codes in line with company policies and procedures. Manage petty cash and maintain daily records of cash transactions. Review and verify new supplier documentation, including trade licenses, VAT numbers, and other compliance documents. Monitor and maintain accounts payable records. Keep accounting books and financial records accurate and up to date. Track key financial areas, including prepayments, top supplier payables, and cash bills. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. M.Com or an equivalent qualification in Accounting/Finance is preferred. 1–2 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably within Retail, E-commerce, or FMCG. Prior experience in Accounts Payable is a plus. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Good command of English, both written and verbal. Strong planning and organizational skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Solution-driven approach with strong problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
