2D Product Designer - Office Furniture

Job Description

We are looking for a Designer & Technical Office Engineer who combines strong design skills with solid technical and execution knowledge.

Key Requirements:

• Strong design sense with the ability to develop creative, functional, and practical solutions.
  
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D is required.
  
• Proficiency in SketchUp and/or 3ds Max for 3D modeling and visualization.
  
• Ability to prepare accurate technical drawings, detailed drawings, dimensions, and specifications for production and execution.
  
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, hardware, fittings, and manufacturing methods.
  
• Ability to translate design concepts into practical and executable solutions, considering production capabilities and limitations.
  
• Ability to review designs technically, solve execution challenges, and follow projects from design development through production and execution.
  
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and stakeholders, including Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution.
  
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and meet project deadlines.
  

Requirements
Strong skills in cost accounting, budgeting, and variance analysis, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide clear recommendations. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, as well as solid Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and modeling. Knowledge of inventory management, standard costing, and manufacturing or product-based cost structures. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations and finance. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CMA) is an advantage. Experience in a manufacturing, technology, or consumer products environment is preferred. Ability to work on-site in Egypt and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
