We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Public Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communication plans that enhance our company’s public image, increase brand awareness, and engage key stakeholders. You will work closely with management and various departments to effectively promote our projects, corporate goals, and community initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the company’s reputation and visibility.
- Create, edit, and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other communications materials.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, industry influencers, and community stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and public opinion to inform communication strategies.
- Coordinate events, press conferences, and promotional activities to highlight company initiatives and achievements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Advise senior management on public relations challenges and opportunities.
- Develop crisis communication strategies and oversee execution during critical situations.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.10+ years of experience in public relations or communications, preferably in the construction or related industry.Proven track record of successfully managing media relations and public outreach initiatives.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.Ability to think strategically and creatively in addressing public relations challenges.Proficiency in communication tools and software, including social media platforms and media monitoring tools.Strong project management skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
