D365 Sr. Technical Consultant

Job Description

1) Technical Design & Development

Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and solution architecture.

Develop customizations using X++, C#, JavaScript, and extensions following Microsoft best

practices.

2) Integration & Data Migration

Design and implement integrations using OData, DMF, Azure Logic Apps, and APIs.

Plan and execute data migration strategies ensuring accuracy and integrity.

3) Performance Optimization & Security

Conduct performance tuning and troubleshoot technical issues.

Implement security best practices and compliance standards. Ability to customize MPOS

4) Testing & Deployment

Prepare technical test cases, support SIT / UAT, and manage defect resolution.

Configure and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for CI / CD and ALM.

5) Documentation & Governance

Maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and deployment guides.

Ensure adherence to Microsoft guidelines and internal governance frameworks.

6) Leadership & Collaboration

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Collaborate with functional consultants and project managers to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related

discipline.

Experience : 7+ years in technical roles for Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 F&O, including

multiple full lifecycle projects.

Technical Expertise : Proficiency in X++, C#, .NET, JavaScript, and SQL Server; hands-on

experience with Azure services, Power Platform, and integration frameworks.

Delivery : Proven track record in technical design, development, integrations, and performance

optimization.

Collaboration : Strong communication and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification : Microsoft Certified – Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer
• Associate (MB-500).
• Power Platform Developer Associate is a plus.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Lifecycle Services (LCS), and ALM practices.
• Exposure to ISVs and industry-specific solutions.
