Literacy and Reading Coach (Upper Primary)

Westview International Language School is seeking an experienced and outstanding Literacy and Reading Coach (Upper Primary) to join our educational team. This position is essential for fostering a strong reading culture among upper primary students and will involve collaborating with teachers to enhance literacy instruction across the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work closely with upper primary teachers to assess the literacy needs of students and develop effective strategies to improve reading skills and comprehension.
• Design and deliver professional development workshops focused on best practices in literacy instruction and resources to support teachers in their classrooms.
• Analyze student performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide tailored support and intervention plans for struggling readers.
• Develop engaging literacy programs and resources that encourage a love for reading and support diverse learners.
• Monitor and support the implementation of literacy initiatives and curricula across grade levels.
• Collaborate with families to promote literacy at home and connect them with community resources.
• Stay current with research and educational trends related to literacy and share insights with the educational community.
