We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Development Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. This position plays a crucial role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and developing strategic relationships that drive growth and enhance our competitive position in the marketplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company growth targets.
Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities in the construction sector.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities.
Prepare and present proposals and bids for upcoming projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives.
Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure successful project delivery that meets client expectations.
Track and analyze sales performance metrics to refine strategies and improve results.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development within the construction industry.

Strong understanding of construction project lifecycles and contract negotiations.

Proven track record of generating leads and securing new projects through effective relationship building.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
