Technical Office Engineer

Job description

Prepare and develop detailed architectural shop drawings.

Review design drawings and ensure compliance with engineering standards and applicable codes.

Coordinate with consultants and designers to approve technical drawings and details.

Review architectural material submittals and ensure compliance with specifications.

Oversee the selection, supply and installation of stone and ensure that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications.

Monitor the safe storage and handling of stones on site.

Oversee quality control and health and safety matters.

Prepare quantity survey for finished work and snag list.

Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or relevant field.

2-5years of experience in technical design, preferably with exposure to stone works.

Excellent AutoCAD skills is a must, Revit is a plus.

Solid understanding of project life cycle and contraction activities.

Good command of spoken and written English and Arabic.

Proficient in MS office applications.

Strong project management skills.

Some experience project scheduling, resource levelling, and activity analysis.

Ability to work independently and lead project deliverables through to completion.

Detail oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
