Senior Data Engineer & Modeling "Oracle"

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with expertise in Oracle PL / SQL and a strong understanding of data warehousing and BI visualization tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing BI reporting solutions, supporting analytical needs, and driving the integration of data across various business units. This role is critical in ensuring that business intelligence solutions meet the high standards of quality and efficiency, and will involve working closely with business teams, data management, and modeling teams.

Job description :

1-      Manage the projects internally within Business Intelligence team to achieve the business requirements within the agreed timelines with high quality.

2-      Responsible for the design, development and on-going support of reporting & analytical solutions and descriptive models for the business community within the reporting environment.

3-      Use range of technologies to make data easily accessible to business users through building Self-BI environment and Dashboards.

4-      Perform the business analysis and document the specification of business information requests.

5-      Work closely with modelling and Data Management team members for building the new models that serves the business requests.

6-      Participate effectively in setting the data governance and reporting strategies that reduce data redundancy wherever possible.

7-      Work with a team of developers through architecture, design, build, test, and enhancement of corporate business intelligence solutions.

8-      Design, code, test and document appropriate data processes, stored procedures or reporting & analytic applications using industry proven ‘best-practices’.

9-      Develop outline design and reports; Create necessary objects to meet report requirements.

10-   Develop and execute unit, system integration, and user acceptance test plans and plays an active role in project rollouts.

11-   Investigate and assist in the resolution of any day-to-day application issues.

12-   Comply with new company Governance, Business Intelligence Standards, Data Standards and Data Warehouse Methods and Procedures in the delivery.

13-   Identify opportunities for sharing and re-using information through the team knowledge base.

14-   Act promptly on the reporting issues that is assigned to the second level of support team.

15-   Recommend approaches, lead design and create solid technical solutions for complex business scenarios.

Requirements

1-     Bachelor’s degree in computer science and / or computer engineering.

2-     3 Years of experience in BI field related.

3-      Excellent oral and written communication skills.

4-      Having strong data-driven analytical skills.

5-      Having problem solving and decision-making skills.

6- Knowledge of telecom industry standards and technologies
