Purpose of the job
Lead design and administration of secure, scalable Linux / UNIX-based systems across public / private cloud and telco environments. Support automation, virtualization, storage, and infrastructure resilience while collaborating across IT and engineering domains.
Duties and responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage hybrid infrastructure across public, private, and Telco clouds
- Administer Linux / UNIX systems with a focus on performance, security, and automation
- Deploy and manage virtualization platforms (VMware, OpenStack) and SDN / SDS solutions
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) for consistent configuration management
- Manage multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) with a focus on cost optimization and resilience
- Support container orchestration and telecom applications using Kubernetes and OpenShift (5G, MEC)
- Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines and serverless deployments
- Enforce security architecture (Zero Trust, RBAC) and ensure compliance standards are met
- Configure and troubleshoot networking, identity, and storage architecture
- Maintain high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions
- Deploy and monitor observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK Stack)
- Collaborate on OSS / BSS integration and Telco orchestration (ONAP, ETSI MANO)
- Document processes and provide mentorship on emerging infrastructure technologies
Job specification
Education
Bachelors in communication engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Experience
2 to 4 years in system administration, including multi-cloud and telecom infrastructure
