Job descriptionManage and coordinate the export process of fresh agricultural produce to international markets, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory standards. Develop and maintain relationships with international buyers, distributors, and logistics partners. Monitor and ensure compliance with export regulations, quality standards, and phytosanitary requirements. Oversee documentation and certification processes related to export shipments (e.g., phytosanitary certificates, customs documents). Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, quality control, and logistics to optimize export operations. Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities for fresh produce exports. Manage export schedules, shipments tracking, and resolve any issues related to transportation or customs clearance. Provide regular reports on export performance and market developments to senior management.
Job Requirements (JR) :
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in agricultural produce export or international trade, preferably fresh produce.
- Strong knowledge of export regulations, phytosanitary standards, and international trade compliance.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with clients and partners overseas.
- Proficient in export documentation and logistics coordination.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with export-related software and tools.
