Job Summary :
Follow up on purchasing orders, track shipments, and carry out necessary purchasing operations and procedures; follow up with customs broker
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and authorize all purchase orders ensuring compliance with company policies
- monitor purchase orders and maintain effective vendor relationships
- troubleshoot invoice, pricing, and delivery issues; evaluate carrier performance and recommend improvements for international purchasing; ensure timely delivery and track product progress
- monitor stock risks caused by delivery delays and take action to ensure availability
- manage communication and negotiations with suppliers and shipping companies to optimize cost and inventory
- follow up with customs broker to obtain shipment invoices and documents
- collaborate with accounting on costs, shipping fees, and taxes, issue periodic reports and analyses on foreign purchases and shipments in a timely manner
Requirements
Required Qualifications :
BSc degree in Supply Chain Management or a related fieldfluent in English; strong math skills for accurate cost calculationsstrong analytical mindsetattention to detailproficient in MS Office; excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
