Job descriptionLead and manage both Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems for frozen fruits and vegetablesImplement and maintain compliance with ISO 22000 , BRC , HACCP , and GMP standardsEnsure consistent product quality and safety throughout the production process, from raw material intake to packaging and storageMonitor and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) , including documentation, traceability, and corrective actionsConduct internal audits , manage deviations, and coordinate with auditors for BRC and export-related certificationsEstablish and track key quality metrics (e.g. defect rates, turnaround times, shelf-life stability)Ensure product consistency in texture, appearance, taste, and freezing standardsInvestigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis , and implement preventive actionsTrain production teams on food safety, hygiene, and QA / QC proceduresSupport export readiness , whitelist qualification , and customer-specific compliance programsCollaborate with cross-functional teams (production, packaging, supply chain) to ensure quality targets are metBachelor’s degree in Food Science , Food Engineering , Agricultural Engineering , or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in QA / QC within the food industry , ideally in frozen vegetables, fruits, or produceStrong hands-on experience with ISO 22000 , BRC , HACCP , and GMPProven ability to manage both quality assurance systems and in-process quality controlExperience preparing for and passing third-party audits and achieving certifications (e.g. BRC, export compliance)Solid understanding of cold chain , freezing processes, and post-harvest quality standardsStrong skills in root cause analysis , data-driven problem solving, and continuous improvementExcellent communication and team leadership skillsProficient in quality documentation systems, QMS software, and food safety reportsKnowledge of English is requiredPreferably experienced with export compliance to Europe, the Middle East, and North America
