Join Garment IO as Technical Project Lead . We are looking for a driven and solution-oriented Technical Project Lead who thrives at the intersection of technology, teamwork, and delivery excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of technical projects across cross-functional teams. You'll work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure that solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals.
The ideal candidate has strong technical foundations, excellent communication skills, and a proactive mindset. You should be comfortable leading discussions, resolving blockers, and driving progress while maintaining a clear focus on quality, timelines, and user value.
Responsibilities
- Track daily and weekly story completion (features / bugs).Monitor time consumed per story via Jira or similar tools.
- Highlight any blockers or inefficiencies and escalate them as needed.
- Liaise with the Ops team to verify and categorize reported bugs.
- Generate monthly bug analysis reports to help measure Ops team knowledge base.
- Assign stories / features to tech team members based on capacity.
- Manage assignments without depending on tech lead, within pre-defined rules.
- Monitor task distribution to avoid bottlenecks or workload imbalance.
- Ensure compliance with team processes and workflows (e.g., daily updates, backlog grooming).
- Maintain daily follow-up on status updates and identify process gaps.
- Document and share meeting minutes and action items for all key discussions.
- Schedule and facilitate sprint sessions, retrospectives, and feature planning.
- Direct team members to appropriate help when issues arise.
- Guide and support new hires in workload management and focus.
- Communicate and follow up with external partners or third-party tech contributors.
- Track integration milestones, blockers, or deliverables involving external contacts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related fieldAt least 2 years of experience in project coordination, quality assurance, or process improvementProficient in tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana, with a basic understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in bug tracking and root cause analysisExcellent organizational, time management, and documentation skillsStrong communication and interpersonal abilities to work across teams and support process improvementsDetail-oriented with a focus on quality, consistency, and preventing regressionsA proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and support team collaboration.Benefits
