Job descriptionPrepare detailed technical production shop drawings based on 3D designs provided by the design team, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications. Create and finalize CNC cutting files for production purposes. Provide input on cost estimates and resource allocation for event-related engineering requirements. Work closely with the design team to translate creative concepts into production-ready technical drawings. Coordinate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure project feasibility and timely delivery of materials. Review and troubleshoot technical issues during the project lifecycle to ensure seamless execution. Collaborate with the planning team to improve the drawing in accordance with the Scope of Work (SOW). Perform quantity take-offs to determine the materials needed for construction. Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure the timely availability of materials. Maintain high attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of all deliverables, minimizing errors and delays. Stay updated on material specifications, manufacturing processes, and industry standards to optimize project outcomes. Maintain comprehensive and organized project documentation, including design revisions, BOM updates, and quantity calculations. Prepare and present technical reports, drawings, and BOMs to project managers and stakeholders. Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of drawings and materials lists. Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to produce high-quality design outputs efficiently. Stay current with advancements in design software and incorporate new techniques as appropriate. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline). PMP (Project Management Certifications) is Must. Minimum of 3–5 years in project engineering, drafting, or related roles, preferably in the events and exhibitions industry. Proficiency in preparing detailed technical production shop drawings related to events and exhibitions. Strong experience with drafting and creating accurate BOMs. Expertise in generating CNC cutting files. Solid understanding of materials such as wood, aluminum, lighting, and staging systems. Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD 2D / 3D, SolidWorks, and other relevant design software. High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Project Planning and Management :
- Assist in the planning and scheduling of projects to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to align project goals and specifications.
- Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet project deadlines.
