The Electrical Engineer at the Plasma Donation Center is responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of electrical systems and equipment critical to plasma collection, processing, and storage. This role involves maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical infrastructure, including power distribution and backup systems.
To Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards (NFPA, NEC, OSHA) and supports uninterrupted operations in a high-compliance environment.

Key responsibility
Electrical System Maintenance & OptimizationInspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, including power distribution panels, generators and UPS systems.Ensure proper functioning of electrical components in plasma collection devices, freezers, and laboratory equipment.Perform voltage, current, and resistance measurements to diagnose and resolve electrical issues.Schedule and review preventive maintenance (PM) to minimize equipment downtime.Respond to electrical failures, power outages, and equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.Supervision of repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems.Ensure compliance with national and international Electrical Codes.Maintain documentation for electrical inspections, repairs, and compliance audits.Maintain logs of electrical maintenance, repairs, and system modifications.Generate reports on power consumption, equipment performance, and failure trends.Update electrical schematics and facility wiring diagrams as needed.Academic experience required
Bachelors degree in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Experience Required
2+ years of experience in electrical engineering preferably in healthcare, laboratories, or industrial settingsHands-on experience with power distribution, emergency generators, and UPS systems.Experience working in GMP environments is a plus.Good troubleshooting skills using multimeters and circuit analyzers.Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA electrical safety standards.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.Computing Skills
