We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented LV Studies Engineer – Tender with more than 5 years of experience, preferably in ABB panel building and low voltage switchgear systems . The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting electrical studies, preparing technical proposals, and ensuring optimal solutions are offered to clients during the tendering phase. This role requires deep knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) distribution systems , ABB switchgear products , and electrical design software tools.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform Low Voltage (LV) electrical studies including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, cable sizing, and protection coordination.
- Review tender specifications, drawings, and technical documents to assess project scope and requirements.
- Design and propose optimized solutions based on ABB panel building standards and products (e.g., System pro E, MNS, etc.).
- Prepare detailed technical proposals and cost-effective solutions for tenders and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Tendering teams to develop competitive and technically compliant offers.
- Coordinate with procurement and design teams to ensure alignment on equipment specifications and availability.
- Support site teams and clients during clarification meetings and technical discussions.
- Ensure all designs comply with international standards (IEC) and customer-specific requirements.
- Provide technical input for BOM preparation, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and general arrangement drawings.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of ABB LV systems, components, and latest industry practices.
- Prepare technical submittals, compliance sheets, and necessary documentation for approval processes.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in LV studies and tender engineering, with a focus on ABB LV panel building.Proficiency in electrical calculation and design software (e.g., ETAP, Ecodial, Caneco, or similar).Strong understanding of ABB LV switchgear systems (e.g., MNS, System pro E, Tmax, Emax, etc.).Experience with IEC standards and local electrical regulations.Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical SLDs, and tender documentation.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.BENEFITS
