Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent. 1–3 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance. Advanced knowledge of PLC programming (Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block). Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and PLC software. Strong understanding of NFPA 70E, OSHA electrical safety standards, and LOTO procedures. Familiarity with classic control systems and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet / IP). Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret electrical drawings and control logic. We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Elsewedy Engineering Industries. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and automation systems within an industrial environment. This role requires a strong background in PLC-controlled machinery, classic control systems, and electrical safety standards to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operation of all production equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the reliable and safe operation of all electrical and automated systems within the facility.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on PLC-controlled machinery and electrical infrastructure.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex electrical and automation failures to minimize downtime.
- Develop and update electrical schematics, PLC programs, and maintenance documentation.
- Support and train junior technicians on PLC systems and electrical safety standards.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and safety.
