MS Dynamics Techno-Functional Consultant (Retail / Logistics)

Job Description

Functional Responsibilities :

∙ Lead the functional design, configuration, and implementation of D365FO modules related to Retail, Finance, Supply Chain, and e-Commerce operations.

∙ Conduct business process analysis and drive solution alignment with industry best practices.

∙ Prepare and maintain functional documentation including process flows, FDDs, test scripts, and training materials.

∙ Collaborate with stakeholders from finance, inventory, procurement, e-commerce, and logistics teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

∙ Support retail-specific workflows such as pricing, promotions, POS integration, and order fulfillment.

Technical Responsibilities :

∙ Design, develop, and maintain customizations, extensions, and integrations in D365FO using X++, COC, and Microsoft’s extension model.

∙ Build and support integrations between D365FO and Shopify, including order sync, product data, inventory levels, customer information, and financial updates.

∙ Use tools such as OData, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, and REST APIs to implement scalable and secure integrations.

∙ Perform data migrations using DIXF / DMF and manage environments, builds, and releases using LCS and Azure DevOps.

∙ Develop and maintain SSRS reports and other reporting requirements for retail KPIs.

Requirements

∙ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

∙ 5+ years of hands-on experience in D365FO (Techno-Functional role), with at least 2 years in retail or e-commerce environments.

∙ Experience in full lifecycle ERP implementations including Shopify–D365FO integration.

∙ Microsoft Certifications in Dynamics 365 (Functional and / or Technical) preferred.

∙ Familiarity with retail industry compliance, operational flows, and digital sales channels.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science. 3-5 years of experience in field services, operations, and IT service management. Expertise in workplace management software and Office365 tools. Good understanding of Active Directory, SCCM, and MDM. Technical knowledge of core technologies including networking and printing. ITIL foundation certified with at least one intermediate certification. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem management skills.
