Electrical Engineer

BTECH, Egypt's number one omnichannel retailer and customer financing provider for consumer electronics and home appliances, is seeking a talented and driven Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and components.

Responsibilities :

• Review electrical designs and site-specific load calculations and coordinate specifications with contractors.
• Inspect and verify electrical work and quantities; review fire alarm systems, cost estimates, and contractors’ invoices.
• Supervise, monitor, and approve all required electrical works.
• Participate in preparing monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports presenting departmental performance.
• Receive fault notifications, assess the nature of faults, coordinate repairs with contractors, and verify completed fixes.
• Conduct site inspections and provide specifications for required works and materials, and perform cost analysis (e.g., collect quotations).
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the department manager or sector head according to work procedures.
• Follow up on periodic maintenance with service providers (generators, elevators, telephone exchanges, automatic doors).
• Stay up to date and evaluate new materials and LED lighting units available in the local market.
• Supervise execution of new constructions or renovations for company sites including branches, administrative buildings, and warehouses.
• Perform preventive maintenance for branches and submit weekly reports on the condition of generators and elevators.
• Execute fault notifications and fulfill required service requests.
