Job Title :   Senior Production Engineer

About the Opportunity

As a Senior Production Engineer , you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe production operations. You will support production managers in executing daily plans, maintaining high-quality standards, and driving improvements in processes, equipment performance, and resource utilization. This role requires both technical expertise and hands-on problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations & Process Control

Execute daily production plans, ensuring timely delivery (MPA & OTIF).

Monitor machinery and equipment performance, ensuring efficiency and minimal downtime.

Support the implementation of safety, health, and environmental standards.

Maintain production records, analyze deviations, and report issues.

Continuous Improvement & Optimization

Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives and improvement projects (e.g., SMED, TPM, line balancing, cost reduction).

Contribute to troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process and quality issues.

Suggest and implement corrective / preventive actions.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.

Work closely with quality teams to reduce defects, waste, and rework.

Collaboration & Support

Assist the Production Area Manager in coordinating resources, workforce allocation, and scheduling.

Support training and coaching of operators on best practices.

Contribute to team development through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

4–6 years of experience in production engineering or industrial operations (manufacturing background).

B.Sc. in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).

Hands-on experience in manufacturing systems, KPIs, and process improvement tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Familiarity with lean manufacturing, equipment efficiency, and resource management.

Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
