IT Business Partners Head

To provide governance and management of the new projects / enhancements pipeline, acting as the primary partner for business functions to capture and plan their needs. Ensure these requirements are translated into new projects / enhancements that align with IT's capacity and broader business objectives. Facilitate prioritization and execution of these initiatives, resolving any bottlenecks to ensure efficient delivery and smooth communication between IT and business units.

Key Responsibility :

• Manage the relationship with business units regarding their new requirements (projects, system enhancements, disaster recovery, capacity needs, etc.), ensuring their digital vision and business objectives are captured and translated into well-defined IT projects and enhancements.
• Develop, define, and implement the overall structure and processes for managing new projects and enhancements in alignment with management directions and the IT 5-year strategy.
• Facilitate regular planning cycles, structuring and capturing new projects / enhancements, estimating their impact on IT resources, and ensuring alignment with business priorities, IT capacity, and technical dependencies.
• Develop and maintain the New Projects / Enhancements Portfolio, including the enhancement roadmap, ensuring it is aligned with business priorities, IT capacity, and resource requirements. Regularly communicate and align with senior management to support effective decision-making in line with the 5-year strategy and solution roadmap.
• Facilitate regular communication channels between business units and IT, ensuring alignment of planned activities, resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring smooth workflows.
• Ensure all new projects / enhancements are captured with structured and high-quality scope and specifications to enable consistent estimation, scheduling, and delivery.
• Prepare and maintain system enhancement requests, facilitating prioritization and scheduling to optimize IT capacity usage and ensuring business needs are met.
• Participate in and contribute to business forums and decision-making discussions, ensuring that IT is aligned with future business initiatives that require new projects or system enhancements.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports for senior management and business units, providing transparency over the projects / enhancements pipeline, status of in-flight changes, IT capacity, and execution performance.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for new projects and enhancements, ensuring regular reviews and transparency of performance through consistent reporting and metrics.
• Oversee and resolve any bottlenecks or issues between business and IT functions, ensuring smooth communication, workflow, and alignment with both IT capacity and business expectations.
