Supply Chain and Planning Manager - Taager

Taager is the first B2B startup focused on social sellers- Merchants. We are democratizing the social e-commerce space by enabling budding as well as seasoned entrepreneurs to sell online with no required capital, inventory, or operational experience.  We have our Merchants covered from merchandising, warehousing, shipping, cash collection and customer service.

In 2019 we started as a team of 8 people, now we are over 350 employees across Egypt, KSA and the UAE.  We serve more than 34K social e-commerce sellers from incredibly diverse backgrounds – from students earning a part-time income to highly ambitious digital marketing experts looking to become solo entrepreneurs. The sellers on our platform benefit from access to 2,500+ highly marketable products. About the Role :

The Supply Chain and Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, ensuring the timely acquisition of products, efficient demand planning, and end-to-end management of procurement cycles. This role includes searching for innovative products, acquiring and negotiating with competitive suppliers, and leading a team of supply chain analysts to ensure Taager’s operations run smoothly and cost-effectively. The role will support strategic growth by optimizing supplier relationships, managing inventory levels, and aligning supply chain efforts with business goals.

Role Responsibilities :

Demand Planning & Forecasting :

• Develop accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with the commercial and merchant growth teams.
• Implement robust demand planning tools and methodologies to balance inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstocking.
• Ensure alignment between demand plans and procurement strategies to meet customer demand on time.
