As a Senior Technical Sales / Specification Engineer at our dynamic construction company, you will serve as a critical link between our innovative product solutions and our customers in the field. You will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to drive revenue growth while ensuring our clients receive the tailored solutions they need for their projects. Your role involves collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and engineering teams to provide technical advice and support during the specification and purchasing process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders within the construction industry.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the specification phase of projects.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our product offerings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Conduct needs analysis and devise tailored solutions to meet customer requirements and enhance project specifications.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify new business opportunities and prepare technical proposals, bids, and responses to RFPs.
- Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape to effectively position our products in the market.
- Conduct on-site visits and assessments to gather feedback and ensure customer satisfaction post-installation.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales or specification engineering within the construction industry.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building long-term customer relationships.Strong understanding of construction materials, building systems, and architectural specifications.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify technical information for diverse audiences.Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to travel as required to client sites and industry events.
